What might have been...

I gave up the accordion at the age of ten--to the great disappointment of my parents. (I wanted to play the piano but never got the chance.)

If I had stayed with the accordion, I might now be a colorful street entertainer instead of a boring old blogger passing along cookie recipes and going on about my cats. Sigh...

The greatest sin may be the unlived life.

LOL, I've known you my whole life, and I have to say imagining you as an accordian player never crossed my mind. A tap dancer yes !!

You are hardly a "boring old blogger" but if you crave the fast-paced world of the Professional Street Entertainer, maybe you could dress outrageously and BLOG from a laptop on a streetcorner!!!

I had to laugh out loud when I read this.

I understand completely about the "unlived" life. That describes my life concisely.

There's one thing the gal with the accordian has that I don't have--
she obviously has music in her soul! More power to her. I hope she makes a nice living at it.
