Christmas decorating on a budget

Well, I've got the majority of my Christmas calendars bought. Thank goodness for Half-Price Books stores. They sell new calendars at half price so I saved a lot of money. There are a few more that I will probably need to get at the Mall but that's the only thing I need to get at the Mall! (I consider it a successful shopping season if I can avoid the Malls.)

We just got out our little monofiliment tree again this year. It's great because the four cats ignore it. I shudder to thing what they would do to a real tree!

Great photo!!! HAHA! My daughter has 2 new kitties this year and decided not to put up a tree. Just not wanting to know what would happen. This is my first year with no cats, but we always put up a tree and never had a problem....even when we had three cats. The loved to lay under it at night. :)

I have a 4 ft tree that I decorate every year. As each year passes I decorate less. The decorating I do is for my son and the 3 grand daughters. Although. I do have to have my Boy Scout Christmas wreath, courtesy of my own personal Scout !!

We're decorating similarly, Ms. Sparrow. I just plug in my little 2-foot prelit trees and then I stuff them back into their boxes (tinsel and all) at the end of the season...ha ha...my cats like to sit next to the new turquoise one, but I think that's because I put a roll of the fake cotton snow on the little table. Feels soft to them...

Such a funny photo. As for Christmas, I have several more things to order online tomorrow, and some projects to do, but alas, I'm spending all my free time blogging! Cheers!
