This kitty has such an intelligent expression on its face, it makes me wonder if the artist used a child's face as a model.
Most of the wonderful graphics that I use are from Olde Dame Penniwig's blog. She provides oodles of nostalgic seasonal images for free. She's a dear and generous old soul and worth checking out.

I agree, Penniwig gives us treats each and every day, doesn't she? Lovely kitty.
The kitty's face does look almost human when you really look at it. It's a beautiful picture. I love cats.
Ms Sparrow, cats are now on my NAUGHTY list!!! One of them just, well, urinated on my beautiful computer monitor!!! Oh, I am steaming!!! The kitty in the painting looks very sensible and even angelic, unlike those demons I have here...lol...
You know, Ms Sparrow, I hadn't thought about the artist using a child's face...maybe so, maybe so...and what a beautiful kitty...I can't resist kitties...I've dropped by Dame's place...she does have a lovely blog...and I'm feeling tons better, thanks for the kind words.
Oh, I just love the little girl's profile...
