Thinking and thanking

I'm thankful for all the wonderful photos and illustrations available online. (I find this one particularly appealing.) I love to browse through Google Images or Yahoo Image Search and all the other sites that offer pictures of every description.

So, even though I'll never travel to Ireland, I can still enjoy its beauty.

Passing pictures on the computer is so much more convenient that clipping and mailing. And, if you ever DO go to Ireland, I'll sacrifice myself and tag along !?

The Emerald Isle. I love a green landscape. It makes me feel warm and alive.

Ireland. England. I have ancestry there. But they were kicked out. That's why I'm here instead of there.

Hi Ms Sparrow,
Yes, Ireland is as beautiful as it looks on the photo We had a lovely holiday touring there a few years ago
I also enjoy retirement and know that I am very fortunate to have had over twenty years of it . I stiil appreciate not having that Monday Morning sinking feeling !
I was lucky to be a student when grants and bursaries were available as was my son. It's very sad that students leave college with big overdrafts today. it's a poor start for them
I also feel for people in pain and hope for their suffering to be alleviated I'm usually fine but the odd bit of discomfort makes me think of others who suffer much more than i do
