I blew it yesterday and didn't post, so now I have to give two things I'm thankful for today. Well, I'm equal to the task. My motto is:
"When you feed the birds and squirrels, you have friends in high places."
I just love the variety of birds and wildlife surrounding me. It not only enriches my life but greatly enhances the lives of my four house-bound kitties.

Love the chickadeedeedees. I wonder where my love for birds and nature came from ? My kids roll their eyes at my thrill of seeing a soaring Bald Eagle. If only they knew how close they almost were not!
I love the animals, too! When I had a different next-door neighbor, it was very upsetting to hear her shooting at the squirrels and grackles! I would have to go lay down with a damp rag on my eyes...thankfully she is gone...
Love your friends in high places...can't resist kitties...did I miss a photo posting of them??? (After 21 years our Chena crossed the Rainbow Bridge...but warm, warm memories remain.)
