I got another one of those emails today. It came from a nice, friendly gal I used to work with. Now I enjoy getting most forwards with humor, witty sayings or interesting pictures. However, it really ticks me off when supposed friends forward things like this with threats!
Really? Why would you do that to anybody? (Even if it had cute little leprechauns all over it.)
So, at the risk of adding another year of questionable luck to my lifetime average, I promptly deleted it. Stay tuned for reports on the repercussions!

Well, at least one.
Make sure you follow the directions carefully. I think we all need a
little luck right about now.
Hope the Leprechaun dances his jig for you!
Good luck to everyone! And may all your dreams come true!!
AN IRISH FRIENDSHIP WISH
May there always be work for your hands to do;
May your purse always hold a coin or two;
May the always shine on your windowpane;
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain;
May the hand of a friend always be near you;
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you..
OK, this is what you have to do...Send this to all of your friends!
But - you HAVE to send this within 1 hour
From when you open it!
Now.......Make A Wish!!!!!!
If you delete this after you read it. You will have 1 year of bad luck!
But, if you send it to 2 of your friends you will
automatically have 3 years of good luck!!! )

Oh yes, I delete anything with a threat....mostly they are well meant but they usually have a threat or something to make you feel guilty attached to them....I'm still here, don't have the plague and the house hasn't fallen down.

I can't even imagine who makes these up, thinks they're appealing. Is there a factory, like a Hallmark card factory where it the chain email is marketed to some company that might me interested and then all the employees think it's great and send them to their entire list and so on and so forth. I just don't get how they start. They just can't hatch, like mold.
I delete those too, thankfully I don't get them that much any more. I wonder if some of them get click back monetary value for the forwards. I don't know much about the computer stuff. I really don't like getting embedded photos in emails because they can carry viruses for the computer and if I can't fix it I have to call someone and that costs me money I don't want to spend.
Those things rank right alongside the FaceBook status updates with the tagline "if you have ... then copy this for an hour..."
I have a special place in my "Deleted" box for all of them!
Ain't no such thing as good luck - which is great, because it means there's no such thing as bad luck either! Just life.
I always delete anything like that. I don't read them, I don't need their nonsense. One distant family member regularly sends that sort of thing to me which now means that any email he sends gets trashed without being read. I reckon the jungle drums will reach me if they need to.
I also immediately delete those idiotic chain letters and I also immediately think less of the people who send them.
By the way, by deleting the message and not sending it to ANY of your friends, you will have a lifetime of good luck.
Well, I guess I have a lot of support for my guarded stance on the risk of offending Leprechauns and fake-friendly emails. I feel much better about deleting it now!
Thanks!
I hate those kind of chain emails, really unpleasant, even if they do come from a friend.
I hate those, and I'm always surprised when one of my friends sends me one. Doesn't happen often, or maybe my email filters it into the SPAM catcher. Yes, feel good about deleting them!!!
