The English are picking rhubarb!

Elaine at Pear Tree Log already has rhubarb in Lincolnshire.. It will probably be a month before we see any growing around here. But, just to be friendly, I'm sharing some of my favorites from my family cookbook.

I think I've only had rhubarb one time and it was in a pie I made.

Ms Sparrow you are a darling. I'm going to have a go at making the cake, later today. If it turns out the way it should I will post about it. Thank you! I wish I could send you some rhubarb by fax. So delighted to have a peek inside the family cookbook!
