May the fourth be with you!

I got several of these greetings on Facebook today and thought I'd pass it along. If you're not into "Star Wars" the pun will be meaningless.

I adored "Star Wars" (at least episodes 4, 5 and 6) and I'm a life-long Trekker (as opposed to a Trekkie who goes overboard about it). One of my favorite movies is "Galaxy Quest" with Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver. It was a spoof of the Star Trek phenomenon and really very funny.

Anyway, I've been a big fan of Science Fiction since I was a kid and I belong to a Speculative Fiction Writer's group among others. I've been piddling away at a post-apocalyptical novel for years--which really doesn't give me any kind of credentials but I am trying!

The fourth is strong in this one.

Wibble moo fribble de-clomp to a fellow Trekkie!

Sigourney Weaver had the best job in Galaxy Quest ...

Awwww. Owl beat me to it. Sorry but Galaxy Quest didn't do it for me, but Star Trek, Star Wars did. Although forgive me, I did like Space Balls

Woohoo! Two differing opinions! Space Balls was funny but Galaxy Quest had some great lines--like when Weaver and Allen come to the stomper things in the middle of the ship, and outraged, she asks, "Why are these even here?"
...Well, it made me laugh!

keep plugging along on your book, not much of a star wars fan, used to be years ago but no longer. Tonight the moon is supposed to be the biggest for the whole year.

Here in Sevilla, that's how "Force" would be pronounced, anyway. First place I've lived where a lisp can be useful.
