They always say movie stars die in threes. We've lost Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett so far this week...who's next? Actually, they are both TV stars but who makes the distinction anymore?
Ed McMahon made a movie years ago called The Incident. As I remember, it was similar to The Taking of Pelham 123 which was just released as a remake.
Farrah Fawcett is best known for a TV movie called The Burning Bed based on a true story. When I googled her filmography, however, I found she actually appeared in a lot of movies.
But now we are left to wonder: who's going to go next? (They're taking odds in Las Vegas.)

And don't forget Charlie's Angels!
Burning Bed wasn't half-bad. She was also in some movie where, as I recall, she forced her would-be rapist into the fireplace and wanted to kill him but her roommates wouldn't let her.

And, Michael Jackson makes # 3 !!
You're right, they always say it comes in threes--- Michael Jackson :-(
My dear, you are psychic. Change yr blog title from Ms. Sparrow to Ms. Sparrow Sees All, Reveals All!!!!
I was wondering about your "comes in 3's" idea earlier, and then heard the news about Michael Jackson! And immediately was telling my family, "One of the bloggers I follow predicted this!!!"
At first I thought Farrah Fawcett was just another sexy blonde actress like so many others until I heard her do a tv interview. Her intelligence just shown!!! She was so smart, sophisticated, and clever that I truly respected her. Then she and Ryan O'Neal did a tv sitcom together that was also smart, sophisticated, and clever (sorry I can't remember the name) but it lasted only one season.
Farrah did a TV documentary about her struggle with cancer. It will be shown again on NBC, not sure on the day or time though.
