...Hi Ms Sparrow,
Finally got round to catching up !
Celebrating Hallowe'en is relatively new here but it becomes more popular year by year. This time i was prepared for all the ghosts and witches that knocked on the door. There was even a little devil complete with horns in its pram in the supermarket !
Your great granddaughters are bonny and look full of mischief !

Each house here has three rubbish bins That's O.K. for recycling although it does create a problem for the big old houses often converted in four or five flats. There can be 12-15 bins in the garden !Barbara Blundellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10737381770907901607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2037665037475387929.post-48194682043616536132009-11-06T21:17:54.509-06:002009-11-06T21:17:54.509-06:00My mom still recycles at 92! They must have been from the same era.
Our town gave us all containers to put our recyclables in, and they pick it up biweekly.
We're small town USA, but we're progressive!^..^Corgidogmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06087352436997512186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2037665037475387929.post-22435629035283377232009-11-06T11:14:29.321-06:002009-11-06T11:14:29.321-06:00Amazingly, Ms. Sparrow, I saw my very old-fashione...Amazingly, Ms. Sparrow, I saw my very old-fashioned, straitlaced, and conservative father, late in life, start recycling very seriously! He really got into it. I'll never forget watching him washing out cat-food tins to put in the recycling bin...Olde Dame Penniwighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11871888334179316997noreply@blogger.com
